Testing Frequently Asked Questions
Here are answers to some of our most Frequently Asked Questions:
How far in advance should I schedule my test?
You may register your test with ATG Learning on the day you are ready to take your test or any number of days in advance provided your desired testing center is open and has an available time slot.
Can I cancel or reschedule my test (change the test date) through ATG Learning?
ATG Learning can only help with the initial scheduling of your test. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please call Prometric one (1) business day in advance before 7 pm Central Time or your funds will be forfeited. Or if you are using a Pearson VUE Exam, call them within 24 hours of your test time.
How fast will my test be scheduled when I register with ATG Learning?
As fast as you need it. When you register with ATG Learning by phone, your test will be scheduled immediately. When you register online with ATG Learning, your test will be scheduled within 24 hours. Either way, you will receive an email from ATG Learning providing you with a confirmation number.
Can I get a receipt for my test registration?
Yes. ATG Learning sends a confirmation email to you including what you purchased with prices and payment information. This serves as your receipt.
How long is my test registration good for?
All tests are good for one year from the registration date.
What do I need to bring on the day of my test?
You must have 2 forms of identification - one that is government-issued with your picture and signature, and the other must have your name and your signature that matches the first ID. Without both forms of identification, you will not be permitted to test.
What can I take into the testing room?
All personal items must be left outside of the testing rooms. This includes but is not limited to cell phones, electronic devices, watches, hats, food, and beverages. We do provide lockers where you can secure your belongings.
What will I have to write on?
You will be given an erasable note board and dry erase markers.
Can I use a calculator?
If the vendor allows it, Yes. Most tests do not require a calculator, though; for those that do, a calculator will be built into the test.
If I fail the test, can I retake it immediately at the same testing center?
In most cases, you will need to reschedule your retake for the next day. Depending on the Vendor, it may require a longer wait time.
