Working in a Tier 1 Help Desk support role, or another similar position, can give you the most valuable asset: experience. Experience is predominately the number one requirement for any open IT job listing. You now know your way around the software/product and complete your daily tasks effortlessly. But to get to the next tier or level, review the skills below that will be expected of you to perform.

Next Level IT Certifications
- CompTIA Network+: Build on your existing user-level knowledge and experience with computers and delve into network support or administration. In the CompTIA Network+ Bootcamp, you'll learn to how to identify basic network theory concepts and implement routing technologies.
- CompTIA Security+: The Security+ certification is recommended to achieve after earning the CompTIA Network+ certification as it builds on your knowledge of security fundamentals and networks. - MCA 365 Modern Desktop Admin Associate: This Microsoft certification is especially applicable to those whose work is centered around the Window 10 operating system. In the MCA 365 Modern Desktop Admin Bootcamp, you'll learn how to install, support and configure network connectivity for Windows 10.
- MCSA Windows Server 2016: Earning this certification shows you have the primary set of Windows Server skills that are applicable to multiple areas in a business environment. In the MCSA Windows Server 2016 Bootcamp, you'll learn to plan a server upgrade and migration strategy, manage a failover cluster and so much more. If specializing in Windows Server 2016 is not your preference, there are many other MCSA certifications to choose from such as MCSA Web Applications, MCSA SQL Server 2016, and MCSA SQL 2016 Database Development.
