About This Course

The CompTIA A+ certification validates the latest skills needed by today's computer support professionals. It is an international, vendor-neutral certification recognized by major hardware and software vendors, distributors and resellers. The A+ certification confirms a technician's ability to perform essential tasks such as installation, configuration, diagnosing, preventive maintenance and basic networking.

This primary goal of this course is to help each student pass the exams required to earn the A+ certification. Required Exams

To earn the CompTIA A+ certification, students must pass two exams:

  • 220-801: A+ IT Essentials
  • 220-802: A+ Practical Application

While both exams cover hardware, software, and security, the first exam focuses on identifiying and understanding fundamental concepts and technologies. Building on the first exam, the second exam focuses on applying skills and techniques to solve problems related to troubleshooting and maintenance.
